Jeff founded NetEffect in February of 2002. Jeff began his career with an Internet Service Provider in Boston. He then went to work for a technology consulting company where he did network analysis and troubleshooting for enterprise networks.
Jeff has consulted for companies such as the New York Times, Cannondale, Fiduciary Trust and the Massachusetts Port Authority. Jeff's strengths include:

John Cooper, Field Manager
John began his career in technology in 1998, as a member of the computer and network support team for the Department of Defense. Since then, he has worked as a network engineer in a wide variety of environments. John’s strengths include:
- Server configuration and administration
- Implementing new technologies
- Advanced disaster recovery skills
Matt Gilbride, Network Engineer
Matt
is a seasoned IT professional with over 14 years experience. He started his career as a computer operator for a small public polling firm in the Midwest. Matt progressed to working for several advanced technology companies in the Boston metro area, including Zoran Technologies.
As a Senior Systems Administrator, Matt maintained 99.998% uptime on all their servers. Matt's strengths include:
- Experience in network security assessment, and risk mitigation
- Advanced server administration configuration and troubleshooting
- System backup planning/administration
Steve Soussana, Network Engineer
Steve
started his career doing DSL technical support for BellSouth. He then went to work for MPower where he was quickly promoted to the lead of their data repair team. Steve's strengths include:
- Extensive knowledge of phone and data carriers
- Proficiency with Cisco routers and IP routing
- PC Desktop troubleshooting and support
Jimmy Lee, Network Engineer
Jimmy began his career in technology in 1993, working for a computer consulting company in Los Angeles, CA. For a period of seven years, Jimmy was successively promoted to from PC builder to Senior Network Engineer and eventually Operations Manager. Jimmy has also owned and operated his own Internet CafŽ. Jimmyâs strengths include:
- Server configuration and administration
- PC Desktop troubleshooting and support
- Server backup hardware and software
Billy Owensby, Network Engineer
Billy started his career in the military where he installed and maintained computer systems. He then went to work in the hospitality industry designing and implementing large networks all across the U.S. Billy’s travels gave him exposure to a broad range of settings and technologies. Billy's strengths include:
- Advanced network design and implementation
- Extensive knowledge of wireless technologies
- Strong customer service skills
