What is your company's mission objective?
Our mission is to provide small and medium businesses in southern Nevada with a high level of expertise, timely service, and superior customer service. Our goal is to make our clients more productive, efficient and profitable through the correct use of technology.
What is your organizational structure?
We are incorporated in the state of Nevada.
How long has your company been in operation?
NetEffect has been in operation since February of 2002.
How many employees do you have, and do you use sub-contractors?
NetEffect currently has eight employees. We do use sub-contractors in rare occasions when we require a technical skill set that is outside of our area of expertise.
Do you perform project work?
Yes, we frequently perform projects for our clients. The most common types of larger projects we perform include server installations, server migrations, application implementations, and location moves.
What operating systems do you use and support?
We support Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems. We also support most types of networking equipment.
Are there any technologies you don't support? Are there tasks or projects you won"t take on?
We don't formally support UNIX operating systems. We don't provide software development, website design, phone systems, or data cabling. We serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, and assist them in finding the correct resource when a technology or task is outside of our area of expertise.
What type of independent certifications does your firm (or its staff) currently have?
NetEffect is a member of the Managed Services Alliance, and the Independent Computer Consultants Association. Jeff Grace is a member of Vistage, an international Chief Executive Organization. Our engineers currently hold or have held certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and Sonicwall.
What type of support do you provide for your clients?
Most of our clients outsource all of their information technology functions to us. A small percentage of our clients have onsite IT staff, and we serve in a supplemental or advisory role to them. Our emphasis is on providing managed services, but we also provide consulting and support on an as-needed basis.
Do you carry professional liability insurance?
Yes, we carry professional liability insurance.
