Jeff Grace
President/CEO
Jeff was raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Clark High School and UNLV. He founded NetEffect in February of 2002. Jeff began his career with an Internet Service Provider in Boston, and then went to work for a technology consulting company where he performed network analysis and troubleshooting for enterprise networks.
Jeff has consulted for companies such as the New York Times, Cannondale, Fiduciary Trust and the Massachusetts Port Authority.
Jeff is active in the local Las Vegas business community and serves on the:
- Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees
- Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Business Council
- UNLV Alumni Association Board of Directors
Tim Frawley
Gaming and Hospitality Specialist
Tim’s IT career in the Gaming and Hospitality industry spans several decades and includes high-level positions at a wide array of well-known gaming establishments. Most notably, Tim served as both the VP of IT Operations and the VP & CTO at MGM Resorts International.
Tim's strengths include:
- Reducing overall IT expenses while improving quality of service
- Aligning technology direction with corporate strategy
- Using clear business language to engage senior management
Mike Amie
Gaming and Hospitality Specialist
A native Las Vegan, Mike has an extensive career in IT operations including 26 years at MGM Resorts International, where he served as the VP of IT Services and Support. At MGM, Mike oversaw the IT operations of 18 separate properties across Las Vegas, Mississippi, Reno, and Detroit.
Mike's strengths include:
- Managing highly efficient 24x7 support desk, desktop and field support teams
- Delivering an extremely high quality of service to end users
- Achieving high first call resolution rates
Brad Swan
Director of Support
Brad is a graduate from Oklahoma State University in Electronics Technologies. He served in the military as an Electronics Warfare Systems Specialist, and has also worked for NASA as a Process and Planning Engineer. Brad has been in the IT industry for 15 years.
Brad's strengths include:
- Achieving greater business efficiencies by applying new technologies
- Making technology easy to understand
- Excellent problem solving skills
Stuart Rowe
Senior Engineer
Stuart began his career in technology with the US Navy as an Electronics Technician. Since leaving the Navy in 1996, Stuart has held a handful of positions administering and overseeing enterprise networks. As a consultant for Kindred Healthcare, Stuart worked as part of a team that managed over 3,000 servers.
Stuart's strengths include:

- Advanced server administration skills
- Strong customer service skills
Jimmy Lee
Network Engineer
Jimmy began his career in technology in 1993, working for a computer consulting company in Los Angeles, CA. Over a period of seven years, Jimmy was successively promoted to PC builder to Senior Network Engineer and eventually Operations Manager. Jimmy has also owned and operated his own Internet Cafe.
Jimmy's strengths include:
- Server configuration and administration
- PC desktop troubleshooting and support
- Server backup hardware and software
Steve Soussana
Network Engineer
Steve started his career doing DSL technical support for BellSouth. He then went to work for MPower where he was quickly promoted to the lead of their data repair team.
Steve's strengths include:
- Extensive knowledge of phone and data carriers
- Proficiency with Cisco routers and IP routing
- PC desktop troubleshooting and support
Tim Cheatham
Technology Sales Representative
Tim is originally from Minneapolis, and is a UNLV graduate. He began his sales career in finance where he earned numerous sales awards. He then transitioned his sales skills to technology where he sold telephony and Internet connectivity for a national carrier.
Tim's strengths include:
- Taking a consultative sales approach to determine the best solution for the client
- A vast set of contacts from his 20 years in the Las Vegas valley
- Straightforward communicator
Stan Powell
Support Specialist
Stan graduated from Missouri Institute of Technology in Kansas City, and has lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years. Stan started working in the technology industry in 1985 in Las Vegas. His background is primarily in HP hardware support including storage area networks, servers, workstations and printers.
Stan’s strengths include:
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Readily translates the client’s desired end result into proper action
- Excellent problem solving abilities
Justin Vermette
Support Specialist
Justin started his Career in the USAF in 2004 where he worked for the NSA doing systems administration. When he left the USAF he went to work for Savers, Inc. as a help desk technician, and was put in charge of building and shipping new computers for all new stores.
Justin’s strengths include:
- PC desktop troubleshooting and support
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
Scott Hill
Support Specialist
Scott has lived in Las Vegas for 22 years and has been working in technology for the past 8 years. He holds a Multimedia degree and is currently pursing further education in Network Engineering. Scott has done IT support for Cox Communications and has worked as a Helpdesk Support Specialist for companies in the hospitality industry.
Scott's strengths include:
- Strong investigative skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate technical issues into everyday language

Jasmine Ware
Support Specialist
Jasmine is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where she earned a B.A. in Telecommunications/Media. She has been working in the technology field since 2002 and is CompTIA A+ and Net+ certified, and is currently pursuing certifications in MCITP-E and CCNA.
Jasmine's strengths include:
- PC troubleshooting and support
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn and apply new technology tools
Tomeka White
Dispatch/Customer Service Representative
Tomeka is a graduate of Sierra Nevada High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked in the customer service field for 10 years and plans to pursue a degree in Business Management. Before joining the NetEffect team, Tomeka performed scheduling, internal training, account management and customer service duties for local and national businesses including T-mobile.
